Household activities and cleaning
You will be assigned a support worker when your NDIS plan determines that you need assistance with household activities, such as washing and drying laundry, preparing meals, etc. Through this, you can maintain a healthy home environment, live independently the way you want, and keep your house as you like it.
Meal preparation and delivery
Food preparation is not a simple daily task for people living with a disability or caring for someone with a disability. NDIS funds the supports you need with meal preparation and delivery.
House or yard maintenance
House or yard maintenance can be strenuous for individuals with disabilities, but you must keep your yard in tip-top shape. Under this category, your NDIS plan may include assistance with essential house or yard maintenance that you cannot attend to. They can be clearing footpaths, clipping hedges, or mowing lawns.
Linen service
NDIS can also provide funding for individual items at a minimal cost, including the delivery of linen. These can include sheets, towels, pillows, mattress protectors, bath mats, plastic bed sheeting, and more.
